Wedding Lip Combos!

Welcome to my first blog as a married woman!

While I could chat about all things wedding, let's get right to the fun stuff... Wedding Lipstick Combos!

Picking your little lip trio of liner + lipstick + gloss is a big deal... you don't want it to smudge, you want your teeth to look white, you don't want it to be too bold, but it needs to show up in pics... it's kind of a big deal.

That said, I'll share with you the combo I used + a combo I've came to love on my honeymoon!

It may not work for everyone, but here are two good 'starting point' options that I love!

The Wedding Combo:

Pencil: Makeup By Mario Lip Sculpting Pencil in Travis

This pencil blends SO well & it stays put! If you're going for a bronzey vibe, overlining then blending this pencil is a great option!

Lipstick: Anastasia Beverly Hills Satin Matte Lipstick in Tease

When I saw this, I'll admit I was nervous it would be too pinky or too much of a coral shade for the bronzey vibe... but honestly it just made my lips pop + added a pretty, natural shade of pink tint.

Gloss: Maybelline Lifter Gloss with Hyaluronic Acid in Topaz

I wanted a shimmer gloss that wouldn't take away from the liner and lipstick and this one did the job-it added a copper colored shimmer and also gave my lips a hint more plumper look. I did however add it after the ceremony for photos so that it wouldn't transfer to my groom ;)

The Honeymoon Combo:

Pencil: Makeup By Mario Lip Sculpting Pencil in Travis

Yep, this is still my go-to option! You really can't beat the color with how well it overlines + blends + stays

Lipstick: MAC Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy

This is a lipstick color I fell in love with years ago in the Bahamas. It's a really versatile, long lasting shade. Sometimes nude lip colors can flush a lip out, but this shade really pulls through to give a more fuller lip look when paired with a lip liner.

Gloss: Buxom Full On Plumping Lip Cream in Dolly

This is a great go-to for not just a lip combo look but for a daily gloss or a topper to your favorite lipstick! Also, a fun little tip is to just add it to the center of your lips, not the edges. That way the middle of your lips look more full and plump!
